VICSWIM Holiday Swimming Program

Winchelsea Swimming Pool will be hosting the VICSWIM Summer Kidz Program in 2027.

VICSWIM has provided Victorians with fun and educational aquatic holiday programs since 1976. VICSWIM seeks to ensure that all Victorians have the opportunity to access water safety, survival and swimming programs for children, that maximise safety and attitudes ensuring confidence and the ability to enjoy aquatic environments.

The program is a low cost, 5 day intensive summer program teaching swimming and water safety to children from 4 years of age. Each program consists of 5 x 30 minute lessons starting at the same time each day throughout the week.

Parents are encouraged to enrol their children into 1, 2 or 3 programs across the 3 weeks on offer in January.

Program Dates

The program runs from Monday to Friday across 3 weeks in January


Week 1: Monday 4th – Friday 8th of January
Week 2: Monday 11th – Friday 15th of January
Week 3: Monday 18th – Friday 2nd of January 

Cost

$43 per week
This includes 5 swimming lessons – one each day, Monday – Friday.

How to Enrol

Booking is done through the VICSWIM website with enrolments opening on November 11.

Below is a list of what we recommend you have on hand for VICSWIM:

  • Bathers, including a rashie or top for sun protection
  • Towel
  • Goggles (if you have some)
  • Spare clothes – especially a warm jumper on cold days
  • Thongs or sandals, or shoes and socks on cold days
  • Sunscreen
  • Bottle of water

Yes! VICSWIM is an approved provider for Get Active Kids. You can redeem your voucher code with us during the Summer Kidz program.

To do so

  1. Edit your student’s profile, and add your unique code in the box “Active Kids Vouchers”
  2. Code will automatically discount your eligible student’s enrolment cost to $0.00

Please note, the Get Active Kids vouchers are only redeemable per eligible student, not the entire family’s transaction. They also cannot be used to cover entry fees. Please see VICSWIM’s terms and conditions.

No, students must be under supervision by their parent/guardian at all times during VICSWIM. Please see the VICSWIM supervision policy for further detail.

VICSWIM does not offer make up classes or refunds for missed classes or change of mind. Classes may be refunded if a medical certificate is provided and emailed to info@vicswim.com.
